This type of plastic hose is spiral wound from a plastic profile and although relatively smooth inside, does have a slight separation between the profiles. The blend of polyethylene plastic used to make this hose generally provides good resistance to most chemical and petroleum products. The average working temperature range of this hose is -65°F to +140°F. The minimum bend radius will vary depending on the profile used to make the hose but generally ranges around two inches. The negative and positive pressure rating will also vary depending on the profile used to make the hose but for 1-1/2” inside diameter hose is approximately 20” HG negative and 20 PSI positive pressure.
